SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE

February 2, 2024

Superintendent Message:

Touchet Families:

 Dear Touchet Parent/Guardian,

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we delve into the heart of February, I wanted to take a moment to update you on some important dates and activities within our school district.

First, I would like to inform you that there will be no school for students on Friday, February 16th. This closure is to provide our staff with the necessary time to engage in professional development and planning. Additionally, please note that Monday, February 19th, is President's Day, and therefore there will be no school on that day as well. We encourage students to take this time to rest and recharge for the remainder of the semester.

I am pleased to announce that the iReady assessments have been successfully completed. These assessments provide valuable insights into your child's academic progress and areas for growth. Our dedicated staff will now be focusing on analyzing the assessment data to better tailor our instructional strategies to meet the needs of every student. We are committed to providing a supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.

As we approach Valentine's Day, we would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and your loved ones. We hope you enjoy this special day celebrating love and friendship.

Thank you for your continued support and involvement in your child's education. Together, we can ensure that every student reaches their fullest potential.

Warm regards,

Mr. Elizondo
Superintendent, Touchet School District
