You can also grab some food while you're at it! No prior experience or commitment is needed to participate. In case you're not interested in building robots, there will be other activities too. A little carpentry skills for our fourth-grade log cabin builders! Mrs. Plucker's fourth-grade class has just finished reading a biography of Abraham Lincoln. The book describes Lincoln's boyhood cabin, which inspired the class to use milk cartons and pretzel sticks to recreate what they imagined it may have looked like. They could choose between making a door or using paper to represent the bearskin that was the original door. It's great to see such creativity and imagination in action!
